EC supported the Wash Boss new build with carwash equipment expertise, project coordination, field supervision and installation support.
The EC team provided an Entire Tunnel Equipment Package that included the conveyor, friction equipment, applicator arches, blower system and the majority of the backroom equipment. Wash Boss purchased its vacuum, POS and LE packages directly from their respective vendors.
The result was a full friction and touchless wash with an extra-wide belt conveyor designed to accommodate the dually trucks common in the Evansville market.

Carwash Construction Challenges
With multiple contractors, trades and specialized systems involved, one of the primary challenges was maintaining effective coordination across the project.
EC’s involvement also extended beyond its immediate equipment scope. The team identified potential issues involving other trades and project plans before they became more difficult or costly to correct.
One example came before the equipment arrived: The EC team identified incorrect pit dimensions early enough for the contractor to correct the issue before equipment installation began.
Equipment placement, utilities, building dimensions and operational requirements are interconnected. Experienced on-site supervision gave the project team another opportunity to identify conflicts, verify installation requirements and make adjustments before small issues became larger ones.

The Wash Boss project resulted in a full friction and touchless wash designed around the needs of its local market, including an extra-wide belt conveyor capable of accommodating dually trucks.
Early identification of issues such as the incorrect pit dimensions gave other trades an opportunity to make corrections before equipment installation, helping reduce the potential for unnecessary rework.
